Program areas at United Cerebral Palsy of Hudson County
Child care - ucp of Hudson County's childcare programs provide quality, developmentally appropriate childcare and educational services to disabled and able-bodied children in an integrated setting. A program component serves children from birth to 3 years old and is funded through private pay arrangements made directly with the families served. The other component serves three year olds through a preschool contract with the jersey city board of education. No transportation is provided.
Adult special needs - provides training for adults with developmental disabilities that will allow them to live more independent lives within the community. The adult day program ensures that each consumer's training program is created to meet his or her individual needs. The program operates from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm monday - friday. Transportation is provided.
FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES - UCP OF HUDSON COUNTY'S FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAM PROVIDES IN-HOME AND ON-SITE RESPITE TO FAMILIES OF INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES THAT WILL ALLOW THEM TO LIVE MORE INDEPENDENT LIVES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. See Sch O for more detail.
