We also recycled durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, bath equipment, standers, and pediatric strollers to 53 people with disabilities. UCP of San Diego provided training, information and referral services, college mentorships and advocacy to many more people with disabilities and their families throughout San Diego County. UCP of San Diego has staff serving on numerous community efforts to improve the lives of people with disabilities such as the Developmental Disabilities Provider Network, San Diego Regional Center Vendor Advisory Committee, Special Needs Trust, Alliance for Technology Access, Assistive Technology State Wide AT Network Loan Program, and many others.
