Program areas at Alternative Opportunities
Dayspring behavioral health services provides mental health services to children, adults and families throughout Arkansas and northeast Oklahoma. These outpatient-based services are provided in clinics, homes, schools and residential treatment facilities under various medicaid contracts.
Ao employment services provides training and employment services to developmentally disabled, physically disabled and mentally ill adults and youth. Employment services for people with disabilities are contracted with the Missouri department of education, division of vocational rehabilitation, the department of mental health and the department of health. Ao workforce partnerships, a branch of ao employment services, also provides training and employment services, which are funded by the Missouri department of economic development, division of workforce development, and are designed to assist adults, dislocated workers, youth and long-term welfare recipients to find employment. These programs are contracted through the southwest, southeast, south central and ozark regions workforce investment boards.
Community living services provides individualized supported living services and community integration services to adults and youths with developmental disabilities. Services are primarily provided in-home, with a minor portion of services being facility-based. Services are provided throughout the state of Missouri. The community services division has contracts with the Missouri department of mental health and the division of aging to provide these services.
Carol jones recovery center for women provides support for inpatient and outpatient substance abuse counseling and treatment to women and their families. The recovery center has contracts with the Missouri department of mental health, drug courts and medicaid to provide these services.youth and family services provides support to young adults as they transition out of foster care into independent living arrangements. The program also assists families in the development of the supports needed to keep children in the family home. Services are both in-home and residentially based. Youth and family services contracts with the Missouri department of social services, childrens division.decision point treatment services provides inpatient and outpatient treatment to individuals for substance abuse and other addictive behaviors at its facilities in northwest Arkansas. Funding for these services is primarily provided through the Arkansas department of human services, medicaid, private insurance, private pay and contributions.
