Program areas at Neopolitan Lighthouse
Neopolitan Lighthouses Domestic Violence Program provides comprehensive support services for victims of domestic violence and their children to assist them in becoming safe, overcoming their traumatic experiences, and becoming self-sufficient. This program encompasses the agencys Domestic Violence Shelter Program and the Outreach Program. During Fiscal year 2022, NL provided 414 adults and children with shelter and walk-in services, provided them with 7,309 nights of shelter, 21,121 meals, 8,148 hours of support services, 719 social services referrals, 862 units of transportation, 80 on-site medical treatment services, and 63 financial grants. NL also assisted 63% of the families served in obtaining more stable housing, assisted 23 adults in obtaining and maintaining employment, assisted 14 adults in enrolling in educational/vocational programs, assisted 18 clients with repairing their credit and 55% of Heads of Household exited with a documented income.
