Maintained the teens Living with Cancer website, the primary means of distributing Teen Cancer information and support to teens, families, friends, and healthcare providers. Added two facebook pages as another means of providing information and helping teens connect.developed and conducted a three-day leadership retreat for 16 Teen Cancer survivors and friends with a focus on developing personal leadership and team building skills.continued to grow the teens Living with Cancer peer support program at our headquarters in rochester, ny. Also established a parent's network for parent support.broadened our community outreach by distributing educational materials to over 15 local middle and high schools. Made presentations to approximately 10 school personnel about how to assist teens when reintegrating back to school.continued distribution of end-of-life resource "the road i followed" to hospitals nationwide. Selected to serve on a national advisory team of professionals designing educational materials for palliative care physicians.
