Description
Visions Academy Charter High School achieved a 96% graduation rate for its first graduating class in June 2014 and a college admissions rate of 77%. Its mission is to graduate academically proficient young men and women who are socially prepared to succeed in college with the support of families and the community. The school has provided full-range educational services, federal and state-assisted nutritionally balanced breakfasts and lunches, and merged with Marion P. Thomas Charter School as approved by the NJ State Department of Education.

Program areas at Visions Academy Charter High School

The Visions Academy Charter High School after providing for four years a full-range educational services to 440 students was merged with Marion P. Thomas Charter School as approved by the NJ State Department of Education. The merger which was effective on July 1, 2014 created a 1,300-student school on four campuses,and reaching from Pre-K to grade 12. The merged Charter Schools now formed the Marion P. Thomas Charter Schools.
Visions Academy has provided nutritionally balanced, low cost or free meals to students each school day through its Breakfast and Lunch Programs, which are federally and state assisted.
