Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Dept of Oregon - 1643 Pondosa Pine

All vfw activities are to provide assistance and support to the local Veterans and the community. The organization provides transportation to the Veterans hospital in portland, Oregon which is a 320 mile round trip 5 days a week. The organization provides medical equipment (wheel chairs, walkers, cane, crutches, and bath tub chairs). The organization support our rotc kids and help them raise money for travel and other activities. The organization supports our troops here and overseas. The organization also helps our local Veterans who are in need of food, utilities, and lodging. The organization donates to "caring troops" which provides necessities for our overseas troops and on the home front, donate supplies and money to Veterans homes in our state and nation.
