Friends of Mhmra of Harris County provides support to clients of The Harris Center by helping staff create a wellness disease self-management program to help patients improve disease management skills, gain self-confidence, and control symptoms and The effect of Health problems thru Health and wellness initiatives.
Friends of Mhmra of Harris County provides money to start up The capeable coffee prgram which provides opportunitites to train clients with Idd, autism, and/or pervasive devemopmental disorder with job skills in a supported environment. Through this program, clients can explore The world of work and identify their interests and talents to encourage and facilitate exposure to employment.
