Program areas at Redwood Valley Grange No 382
We are remodeling our meeting hall to better serve our community. The hall is a gathering place for other community orzanizations, as well as providing shelter in times of wildfire evacuations.
We gave scholarships to students seeking a contuing education.
As a community Grange, we pay to send delegates to our state Grange meeting, where resolutions and officers are voted on, which will determine our policy and grass roots advocacy sees its greatest impact. A portion of the dues we collect are sent to the California state Grange, who in turn sends a portion to the national Grange.
We bring the community together through activites like pancake breakfasts and harvest dances. This year we united with our local fire department and humane society to share expenses and revenue. Many food items were donated. Through this adventure, we gained several members and a better stance within our community.
