Global outreach initiative - uses Phaware's unique abilities to leverage today's advanced technology to create greater patient to patient, patient to doctor, and doctor to patient connectivity and to drive awareness at a Global level. This includes "i'm aware that i'm rare" podcasts, awareness videos, and livestreams. We believe the lack of connectivity and the difficulty in early diagnosis have resulted in a patient and medical population which is underserved. Phaware will use state-of-the-art tools to drive Global awareness, enhance disease state education, and cultivate greater data collection inside and outside the ph community.

Im aware that im rare: Phaware podcasts are quality and expertly produced Global podcasts with season five beginning in october 2020. Over years Phaware has elevated our podcast content of impactful,insightful, educational and most importantly, hopeful stories from members of the Global pulmonary hypertension community including ph and cteph patients, medical experts, caregivers, nurse practitioners, industry partners and thought leaders both here and abroad.

Given pulmonary hypertension is a rare disease often misdiagnosed, we are leveraging state-of-the-art social media hardware and software to extend knowledge of this disease beyond the traditional affinity group to create awareness and to educate. Additionally, Phaware is developing apps which, from a patient/doctor perspective, are designed to create greater patient-physician connectivity, as well as provide real time health data for physicians and clinicians focused on seeking a cure for this rare disease. One of our prime objectives is to leverage innovative technology and use it capture, engage and enable diagnosed and undiagnosed ph patients, caregivers, and medical professionals by providing them with digital content focused on education, resources and knowledge. Early diagnosis, phaware365 pulmonary hypertension (ph) is a rare, complex and chronic lung disease, which currently has no cure. Ph, or high blood pressure in the lungs, makes it difficult for a patient to receive adequate oxygen and forces the heart to work harder, often resulting in heart failure and death. It is often confused with asthma or copd. Ph can be difficult to diagnose in a routine medical exam because the most common symptoms of ph are also associated with many other conditions. Ph patients spend an average of 2 to 3 years seeking an accurate diagnosis. 75% of patients will have advanced ph by the time they are diagnosed. Proper and early diagnosis is crucial for patient care, and it begins with awareness.
