Program areas at Oahu Agriculture and Conservation Assoc

In May of 2021, OACA underwent a leadership transition. Key accomplishments for 2021 included:-More than 1 million dollars in grants that OACA helped to write awarded to other organizations. -We had more than 60 participants in 2021s Together We Farm training program and awarded 18 training incentive grants totaling over $32k. This program, funded by the Hawai'i Department of Agriculture, helped to support farmer education on issues such as soil health, pesticide safety and worker protection. OACA was also involved in a number of partnership networks, including providing support to the Ag Microfinance hui.
