Conduct educational conferences and training seminars for workers on Occupational Health and Safety topics. Includes outreach and assistance to workers who were eligible for the excluded workers fund.
Develop and disseminate educational materials, pamphlets and brochures on various Health and Safety topics including protecting yourself from heat-related illness, a worker's guide to covid-19 in the workplace and preventing illness through vaccines. Staff distributed brochures at community fairs, neighborhood events and trainings.
Assist with outreach, curriculum development and training on Occupational Health and Safety topics including covid-19 and other infectious diseases
Subcontract with the civil service employees assoc. for translation of english language materials into spanish and presentation of preparing your home for emergencies materials at the csea Health and Safety conference.
National cosh regional stipend to coordinate regional efforts in New York state among other cosh groups and worker centers.
National institute of environmental Health sciences (niehs) covid 19 recovery training center grant as part of a subcontract with the rutgers school of public Health to conduct trainings on covid-19 and other infectious diseases as well as provide personal protective equipment and resources to workers.
Western ny council on Occupational Safety and Health (wnycosh) subcontract for osha infectious diseases training for workers, including covid-19.
Wnycosh subcontract for osha susan harwood capacity building grant. As subcontractor on the grant, we assist with outreach, curriculum development and training delivery on Occupational Safety and Health topics.
