Program areas at NTHC
The Homeownership Center (THC) is a community resource, which provides homeownership preparation through comprehensive counseling, training and education. Some of these services include: providing one-on-one homeownership counseling, foreclosure prevention seminars and homebuyers education classes. Assisting more than 1,200 families and individuals with home buying,and assisting more than 10 families in becoming homeowners since its opening four years ago.
DFW Home Ownership Preservation Enterprise (HOPE) is the lead agency for the Dallas Homeownership Preservation Enterprise Partnership. HOPE offers free foreclosure workshops within the North Texas region.
Senior Education Resource Center (SERC) will serve as the source of information and education for individuals 55 and older. SERC will provide the necessary tools to help fight consumer fraud, identity theft as well as help with housing concerns they have. Seniors can also get help with insurance as well as retirement and estate planning assistance.
