Georgia Act

Georgia Act was the "go to" agency for affordable housing and equitable community development policy expertise in Georgia. The majority of the operating budget was used for programming and advocacy *co-chairs the house atl policy working group & participates on the homeownership working group and advisory board **continued partnerships as a board or committee member and participation with organizations by participation in meetings, events and webinars sponsored by several organizations and funders *co-hosted the naceda annual national summit in atlantax*continued ptnrship with ncrp to acquire new funders,etc *continued advocacy on the local, state, and federal levels for economic development; affordable housing assisted in advocation for tenant protection that supports safe, decent, affordable and stable housing provided assistance with nonpartisan voter engagement training. Continued our partnership various colleges and other groups to increase awareness of affordable housing, community economic development and advocacy as a career choice participated in various speaking engagements
