During 2022, Working Together Mississippi:- conducted 100 civic academies on health care access with over 1,000 local institutional leaders participating around the state.- developed a civic academy and education response to the jackson water crisis and assisted leaders around the state in education on water quality issues.- conducted an education campaign around arpa infrastructure funding educating leaders prior to the Mississippi legislative session.- worked with consumer reports and Mississippi spotlight to develop a water testing program in all 82 counties.- led leadership training for institutional leaders with the church of christ holiness usa, south central diocese.- conducted leadership efforts with the following religious denominations, catholic diocese of jackson, mid-south diocese of the fellowship of international churches, episcopal diocese of Mississippi, first southern jurisdiction of the church of god in christ and the 8th episcopal district of the african american methodist episcopal church.- conducted 1,000 relational meetings with institutional leaders around the state leading to the development of the wtm statewide team.- conducted education process with local leaders on Mississippi tax plans prior to the legislative session.
