Program areas at American Society for Indexing
In 2022, with members continuing to have concerns about travel and covid-19, asi made the decision to produce a virtual conference, the future of Indexing a mix of art technology, held april 29-30, 2022. The event was a success with nine speakers and international attendance. We held a second online event, getting better improving the Indexing mind, body and business, december 1-2, with five speakers three international, which was also well attended. Asi has successfully pivoted and used our new strategy of online conferences to provide asi members with educational opportunities and keep the organization strong. A bonus for the conference attendees, on wednesday, may 4, experts and users of Indexing software tools presented software segments to discuss updates, share tips, and respond to questions about four software applications that indexers use.
