Civic Engagement: In 2020, ACCE Institute reached over 38,894 voters to encourage them to vote and educated 12,678 people on the importance of census participation.Housing Justice: In response to a raging pandemic that left millions of Californians out of work and unable to pay rent, ACCE Institute engaged over 75,000 tenants in several full scale housing justice campaigns to keep Californians housedand informed of their rights. Covid Response: ACCE held over 150 "know your rights trainingsX and legal clinics. Nearly 3,000 participants attended. In addition, through direct distribution or connecting tenants to state or private funds, ACCE offices helped 433 undocumented families secure financial assistance, with a total of $221,500 distributed.
