Zebrafish Disease Models Society

In 2022, the Society organized the Zebrafish Disease Models 15th conference held in sheffield, england. Zdm15 conference brought in a total of 310 confirmed attendees, 259 attendees were in-person and 51 virtual attendees. Zdm reinstated membership fees as of june 1st, 2022. Also, the Society held a total of 9 complimentary virtual meetings from february through may of 2022. Over 515 people registered to attend these virtual events to promote the study, research, and use of Zebrafish Disease Models throughout the world. Approximately 50-60 people attended these virtual events. The Society established eleven research interest groups, communities where members participate and collaborate on specific areas of interest while still being connected to the larger network. They are open to all members interested in connecting and networking with colleagues with similar scientific goals, challenges and interests.
