Program areas at Wind Beneath My Wings
The Organization's new initiatives in relation to the Transformative Change Program provide online and in-person facilitated training and educational programs designed to enhance self awareness and life skills and to promote the intersection between mindfulness and race and social justice consciousness building. The Organization has provided and supported several 3-month learning modules which have serviced approximately 475 individuals.
The Organization promotes the instruction, facilitation and support of mindfulness meditation and living skills to members of the public and online community.
The Organization's new initiatives have promoted and supported the Radical Dharma Program which offers and nourishes contemplative, healing and embodied skills of its participants. The Radical Dharma Program objectives is to enhance life skills and resources for its participants. This Program has coordinated and facilitated three (3) different land based five (5) day retreats led by Rev. Angel at (a) the Hollyhock Retreat Center on Cortes Island, BC (June 2022), (b) the Drala Mountain Center in Red Feather Lakes, CO and (c) the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, NY (September 2022).
