Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - St. Francis, located on Milwaukee's south side, is a general acute-care hospital licensed for 260 beds. Specialties include a comprehensive cardiac care program, including full surgical services, heart scanning, catheterization, angioplasty and electrophysiology; full orthopedic services; interventional radiology, including a 3-T MRI and new interventional radiology biplane suite; comprehensive neurology and stroke program; women's health services including obstetrics, a Level II neonatal nursery and prenatal assessment center; 24-hour emergency service and Urgent Care; outpatient services; cancer care; and sports medicine. The Outpatient Center at St. Francis is home to the Center for Neurological Disorders, internationally known for cutting edge treatments for MS and Parkinson's Disease.
