Wham invests in women's health research to transform women's lives. Wham works across diseases that impact women differently and differentially brain health, heart health, immune and autoimmune health and cancer. The wham report shows the impact of accelerating sex and genderbased health research on women, their families, and the economy. The impacts of our limited knowledge about women's health relative to men's because of insufficient research addressing women is far-reaching. Wham commissioned the rand corporation to study these impacts for: alzheimer's disease (brain); rheumatoid arthritis (autoimmune), and cardiovascular disease (heart).whamnow held an in person event in boston with over 100 attendees and 30 speakers. Wham also held a number of online forums including: wham and go red for women hosted leading voices in women's heart health and kalisha figures from the white house gender policy council to discuss the impact of accelerating heart research on women, business, and the economy. Wham and go2 for lung cancer hosted leading voices in women's lung cancer for a virtual roundtable on the impact of investing in women's lung cancer research.
