Program areas at Houston Cares Animal Rescue

In 2023, we adopted out 236 animals from our foster program into loving homes. In addition to our community education programs and our Trap/Neuter/Release program for feral cats, our volunteers feed 3 large feral cat colonies. Some of the most adoptable cats from these colonies, typically young kittens, are taken in by our rescue and adopted out to loving families.
