Program areas at Houston Petset

To make a difference in the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals by providing funding and support to those organizations dedicated to helping homeless animals in the city of Houston and greater metropolitan area find food, shelter and veterinary treatment, through fundraising efforts.
Houston Petset is a founding partner agency of the harris county animal cruelty taskforce, and currently provides funding for two of the taskforce animal cruelty officers. The harris county animal cruelty taskforce was formed with the primary goal of streamlining the process of where and how animal cruelty can be reported in the greater Houston area. The taskforce acquired 832-927-paws as their phone number in order to further streamline the reporting process, speed up response times and minimize duplication of efforts across the county.
