Program areas at We Players

Mother Lear is an award winning play about a mother with dementia who communicates with her caretaker daughter using only the text of King Lear as the two struggle with aging, love, and their own balance of power. It was performed at San Francisco's Sunnyside Conservatory. After the performance was a facilitated discussion with the audience.
The Keeper tells the story of a woman who chooses a solitary existence with a singular purpose - To keep the light. Inspired by true stories of female lighthouse keepers, it was a one woman transformative tale about practice, patience, joy, and absurdity. It was performed at Alameda Point.
Tudu pop up stage was a creation where We Players performed for small groups outdoors. It was inspired by the turtle, a symbol of the earth in many indigenous mythologies. The turtle is a comforting mascot embodying lessons to reframe emptiness as spaciousness or feelings of lack into abundance.
Sea Clown was a one performer tour de force.
Sites and Sounds was a concert and celebration.
Hamlet Recording was a musical journey from an assembly of accomplished instrumentalists.
Alice adventures in Golden Gate Park.
