Program areas at Veterans For Peace

Support over 100 chapters and a dozen national projects through training, website, enews, newsletters, social media, database management, member organizing, & facilitating an annual convention. Engage in public and decision maker education by creating media, direct engagement and supporting hundreds of local actions carried out by chapters and independent members. VFP builds veteran and ally communities that reject war culture and global militarism and takes action to expose the true cost of war. Direct services also include advocating for the repatriation of deported veterans, providing clean drinking water and addressing long term health impacts to war recovering regions like Iraq and Viet Nam, and overturning the privatization of the VA so military veterans receive proper health care.
