Program areas at Usmc Memorial Foundation
An event was held at the Memorial on April 29th to inform potential donors/volunteers about the Memorial/Memorial Events & what they mean to veterans and the young people we serve. In conjunction we hosted a dinner for the same purpose inviting key potential volunteers and donors for the remodel project. as a result a company volunteered to provide roofing for the building when we get to that point.
In May and again in November we host ceremonies at the Memorial to tell the history of Memorial Day/remember the fallen/pow/mia's and to educate young people about ceremonial protocol and introduce them to living Marine Corps legends for educational purposes.
In October we held a luncheon to inform the general public about the remodel project and our "Buy a Brick" donation program encouraging them to share their story on the website and on the radio as well as donating throught this particular program.
