Program areas at Truckers Emergency Assistance Responders
Queen of the road recognition awards - this is an annual awards and recognition event we host to identify outstanding drivers that deserve recognition. It is held during an annual truck show where we have a booth and require staffing for the week in addition to the awards, cash prises and gifts.
Support partnerships - we donate to other small truck driver groups occasionally who need help such as the lgbtqia truck drivers who were fundraising to attend a pride event and funeral fundraisers that come up in our driver community from time to time.
Short term Emergency Assistance - we provide short term Emergency Assistance to longhaul truck drivers who are stranded on the road and have no way to get home with funds to do so. This can be in the form of a bus ticket, airpalne, rental car, or uhaul. We also give them money for gas, ground transportation, food and temporay shelter like a motel.
