Totally Positive Productions

Various Culture Enrichment Field Trips (a total of 12 trips) are conducted throughout the year by Totally Positive Productions (TPP). The organization took a group of people - a combination of adults and youths to different culturally enriched places as part of the Community Rides Program! TPP provided admission tickets, and transportation (TPP Bus). Afterward, in most cases, the group went and had a buffet-style Lunch. Everyone had a great time! OVERALL TOTAL INDIVIDUALS IMPACTED BY CULTURAL ENRICHMENT TRIPS: 184 PARTICIPANTS (RANGING FROM 9 MONTHS TO ADULTS 64 AND UP)

ARTIST IN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM: Public Performance Opportunity APRIL -- SEPTEMBER 2022. Totally provided seven selected Artists (Spoken Word and Singing) performance opportunities at various events throughout the City of Chicago. Each Artist was provided with a stipend immediately after performing. On Thursday, June 16, 2022 - Spoken Word Artists Anita Riddle, Lauren D. Armour, and Michael Wiliams performed at a Juneteenth Event for Mercer Company (Downtown Chicago). On June 17, 2022 - Spoken Word Artists - Anita Riddle, Antonette Wilkins, Lauren D. Armour, and Michael Williams performed at the Chicago Sky Women's Basketball game during Half-time. Afterward, the artists were treated to Dinner at Fogo De Chao Restaurant.

YOUTH AND ADULT EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAM: JUNE - NOVEMBER 2022. Totally employed two youths and one adult from June 2022 to November 2022 with employment and training opportunities. Both the youth and the Adult worked administratively for TPP and learned valuable software, equipment and office etiquette skills. The youths help in administrative and program efforts and in preparing company materials for public distribution. The efforts led to over 2,000 crime prevention brochures being copied folded and distributed via mail and at various events/activities.
