Relational organizer: in communities and through personal relationships, advance the skills, knowledge and capacity of people of color, young people and women to civically engage. Get out the count census project: ensure an accurate and inclusive us census through community based education. This program was funded through grants paid in 2019, however program activities continue in 2020-2023. With covid-19 threatening to disrupt traditional voting methods, Together Wisconsin, Inc. Engaged badger state research (bsr) to conduct polling research that found many voters planned to vote absentee but that they were concerned about hurdles in casting their ballot. Bsr followed up on those findings with focus groups from specific constituencies including: african american, latino, hmong, native american and young people. A comprehensive digital voter outreach program focused on absentee, early and in-person election day voting and also addressing of misconceptions in the process was a result of the research. The campus vote project includes training on Wisconsin's voter registration and election.
