Rap4bronx collects and donates food meals, groceries and essential supplies to help frontline workers, families, seniors and vulnerable residents in The bronx, ny area. Rap4bronx works with food pantries, senior citizen homes and other non-profits to help alleviate The stress for community members who find themselves at The intersection of being most vulnerable to The covid-19 and most impacted by inequity. Since The program's inception, The volunteers and program coordinator of rap4bronx have delivered over one million meals to bronx residents in need.
Funds are raised via events such as The annual Charitable golf classic and are regranted to organizations carrying out work aligned with The Foundation's mission. Funds are also received by The Foundation and regranted to individuals, organizations and grassroot initiatives as per donor's direction and whose work is in line withthe Foundation's mission.
The organization hosts an annual golf outing benefiting various charities.
The Skyline Charitable Foundation has launched a training program for asylum seekers (as) wishing to enter The restoration and construction industry, once eligible for employment. This new initiative was formed to not only address nyc's stated need for workforce development, but to aid in creating pathways for The newly arrived individuals and families to obtain financial stability and The ability to successfully integrate into their new communities.
Program was launched to address The immediate need of ukrainian refugees in nyc, specifically regarding food relief. There was a fundraiser held for this initiative and proceeds went to purchase gift cards from a culturally relevant supermarket chain and given to ukrainian refugees here in nyc.
