Program areas at The Redbud Foundation
Sponsored annual running/cycling event with over 4,000 participants, promoting physical fitness through running and walking. The funds in the fall allowed for the donation of $5000 to the Oklahoma City Police Athletic League that is dedicated to reducing crime by producing safe , healthy alternatives for children from high risk reighborhoods. The raised funds in the spring allowed for a donation of $12,000 to The CARE Center, whose mission is dedicated to preventing child abuse through education and helping children find their voice. The funds also allowed for a donation to Nichols Hills Parks Inc for $3,000, which will help enchance the preservation, beauty, and maintenance of the red bud trees.
