The Neighborhood Good samaritan center (ngsc) advocates to resolve issues facing new legal arrivals to The us. Pro-bono immigration lawyers donate their time and talent twice a month to assist The new arrivals with legal advice.

Program areas at The Neighborhood Good Samaritans Center

Opening of The vocational thrift center to provide training to newcomers and residents of surrounding communities an avenue to develop their skills and prepare them to meet demand from specific employers.
The center receives new clients each year. Most of whom are referred by The refugee resettle agencies we partner with. The majority of our clients are refugees; a smaller number holds a diversity visa immigrants, and legal asylees or asylum applicants. Through our program, immigrant women and men have achieved independence once they learn how to navigate The resources that are in place.
