Program areas at The Luminaries of Holy Mary
Provided funds for debt reduction and furnishings for The novitiate house and for education formation for The sisters of The alliance of Holy Mary sisters. Helped The dominican nuns of The perpetual rosary with The finding, digging and installing a drinking water well and irrigation system for their cloister. Paying The tuition for two religious sisters at franciscan university and assisting local priests with spiritual formation and helping with The evangelization efforts in Virginia, north carolina and Indiana.
Held reflections, study groups and prayer groups that provide spiritual formation which is directed by The alliance of Holy Mary. Reflections: sr. angela of The alianca de santa maria came to The us in march and gave three talks on The eucharistic message of our lady fatima. Study groups: held three, 13 week study group sessions during The year with 15-20 people in each session from all over The country. The study groups are held to promote a better understanding of The fatima message, particularly The importance of The first saturday and a greater devotion to The immaculate heart of Mary. Prayer groups: currently have five groups, which meet monthly. Also set up an informational booth with brochures, books and prayer cards on The first saturday devotion and fatima message at The eucharistic congress in charlotte nc.
Led two pilgrimages to fatima, portugal on july 17-28 and october 16-27. Our prime program promotes learning, living and spreading The fatima message by visiting all The Holy sites related to The message of fatima in portugal.
Held a summer camp for teenage girls that was led by The alianca de santa maria sisters.
