Japanese language education assistant program (j-leap) - goal is to create opportunities through teaching assistantships to nurture a new generation of qualified teachers of japanese language.
Kakehashi - provides a fully funded, two-week study tour to japan for american middle, high school, undergraduate, and graduate students and their teachers.
Japan outreath initiative (joi) - offers a grassroot opportunity to develop understanding about contemporary japan by dispatching japanese individuals to volunteer in communities in The midwest and southern u.s.
