The Houston Seminar offers educational opportunities through study tours and lecture courses related to various topics such as craft, literature, education, politics, religion, philosophy, and culture. In the fall of 2018 and Spring of 2019, two study tours were offered with 25 participants each traveling to Natchez, Mississippi and Virginia to explore history, culture and civil rights. In Spring 2022 alone, they offered 10 lecture courses and visits along with two study trips to San Antonio and Arkansas for a total of 506 tickets sold.

Program areas at The Houston Seminar

In Spring 2023, study tours to Dallas and Washington, D.C were held as well as 9 lecture courses and visits related to cuisine, politics, environment, art, health, and literature. 565 tickets were sold.
In May of 2023, $29,185 in revenues were collected for various courses to be offered in Fall of 2023.
In the Fall 2022 semester, 10 courses were offered, including a study tour to the Coastal Bend area of Texas, lectures on history, digital assets, politics, and Houston demographics, and visits to various technology, visual art, and nature sites. 574 tickets were sold.
