Program areas at The Foundation of the Sacred Stream
Practice Instruction Programs, which are based in Buddhist teachings, are designed to provide students with one-on-one instruction geared to their particular understanding of their spiritual experience. These practice instruction sessions are designed to help people understand how to incorporate Buddhist precepts into their daily lives. This in-depth personal instruction requires students to look at their personal needs and understand how these precepts can help them achieve spiritual healing.
Transpersonal studies and workshops are separate from the principal training programs. These classes provide opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of material already touched on in the training programs. They are designed to provide ongoing support to deepen specific parts of one's journey. These classes are sometimes offered several times a year in a class series of 4-6 meetings. These workshops include in-depth studies in Parenting; Dreams; Relationships and Buddhism. For practitioners and counselors, the Foundation of the Sacred Stream offers workshops that are designed to bring the key elements of the Foundation's training programs into other paradigms or models. These workshops are sometimes offered at other educational institutions.
Religious Certification Programs, which are primarily based on Buddhist principals, are designed to provide students with proficiency in Integrated Energy Medicine, Applied Shamanism, Buddhist Psychology Studies and/or Depth Hypnosis healing techniques. Certification is available for Depth Hypnosis Practitioners and for those that complete their studies in the Minister Education Program. In order to complete the Minister Education Program, a student is required to demonstrate proficiency in all four areas of study noted above and particularly in understanding how Buddhist principals inform the other studies in the certification program. The Depth Hypnosis Practitioner Program and the Minister Education Program develop ministers and practitioners who support the members of the community in their individual spiritual healing paths.
