Program areas at The Farm Ministry
In 2023 we distributed 23,008 pounds of beef, 13,779 pounds of cheese, and 2,727 pounds of ham, providing a quarter pound of protein for 158,056 meals. The number of people served would be 158,056.
The hens of hope for appalachia project- participants of this project receive hens, housing, feeders, waters, and layer feed to produce eggs for their family with a percent of The eggs delivered to The manna food pantry. 510 hens were donated to The project in 2023. This allows people in appalachia to feed their family and help to feed their neighbors. Current egg production is approximately 200 dozen eggs per week.
We provided disaser relief to flood victims in appalachia in eastern Kentucky, including 19,630 pounds of beef, 6,679 pounds of chees, and 2,727 pounds of ham. We also provided humanitarian supplies, including 96 new delux sofas, 20 skids of new and used clothing, furniture, books, bibles, lumber, nails, hardware, toys, hygiene kits and blankets.
Garden Ministry: families receive seeds, fertilizer, lime, hand tools, and canning supplies to nourish their families and maintain their dignity. A percentage of their vegetables and produce are committed to donation to local food pantries. Materials for this project were purchased and donated.
