Program areas at Calculus Project

In 2022 The Calculus Project (TCP) partnered with five districts to implement the full, year-round program. Over five hundred students were supported by TCP components ranging from cohort placement and peer teaching to afterschool and summer programs. In addition, TCP hosted over 100 students in Boston and Lowell on the campuses of Boston University and UMass Lowell for a three-week summer acceleration program. TCP provides support for learning math and also opportunities for curiosity and exposure to STEM fields and professions. TCP students experienced many enrichment opportunities such as a live link to an astronaut on the Space Station, and they had an opportunity to meet him in person when he returned to earth.
