Description
The Bayside History Museum's mission is to preserve the history of North Beach and display artifacts while educating the community. It provides special open hours for various groups such as scout troops, paleontology clubs, and DAR. The museum also creates and provides scavenger hunts that coincide with required lists/assessments for AP students. Additionally, the museum co-sponsors lecture series with the Calvert Library and DAR and has recorded them on YouTube. These lectures cover a range of topics, including mysteries of the Patuxent River, Camp Theodore Roosevelt, and Boy Scout Legacy.
