Program areas at Arlington Association
Golf course for club members. A significant part of The Arlington association/club operations center around its outstanding 18 hole golf course. This course is used extensively by members as well as by The golf teams at eastern Kentucky university. Because of The quality of The course and its size, it is somewhat costly to maintain in proper working order as is not unusual for such a facility.
Swimming and tennis. The Arlington association/club has both a swimming and pool facility and tennis courts that are enjoyed extensively by members. The pool facility is open four months a year, although maintenance occurs year around. The Association has a swim team and hosts various swim meets throughout The swim season. While The tennis courts are open three seasons because they are outdoors, there are year round maintenance costs for them as well.
Dining facilities for club members. The dining operation is a significant part of The Arlington association/club operations as is normal for a fully functioning social club. A stately old mansion serves as The focal point of The dining experience, but there is also a club house located with The golf pro shop that offers food and beverage service.
