This year The children'Childrens's Storefront responded to The covid-19 pandemic by continuing to provide our early childhood program in a virtual format. To date, we have served over 150 families with babies and toddlers up to age three. Our virtual play & learn program provides a safe and nurturing community, offering facilitative coaching from early childhood development specialists who engage families with music, books, and brain-building activities. Our sessions help caregivers to build a strong foundation for their child's learning. Community response has been overwhelmingly positive, with participants saying they have a better understanding of how playing with their child strengthens their child's brain and sharing that they would recommend The virtual play & learn program to their peers.
