The 45 women we served this year are continuing to deal with the ramifications of COVID as well as their disease. One third of the women we served this year are single parents, therefore, the financial assistance not only serves them but their whole family. Traveling to get treatment has become even more challenging since the immune system of these women is compromised because of their treatment. COVID, the flu and the basic common cold can be life threatening. The help they receive as well as a caring person they can speak to each month helps these women not only financially but also emotionally.
