Program areas at Saint Paul's Foundation for International Reconciliation

We established a new East Coast presence when Canon Albert Ogle moved from San Diego to New York and participated in various UN related events including a sub-committee of the Human Rights Council monitoring LGBTI exclusion from the Sustainable Development Goals. We also provided technical assistance to the World Bank and their emerging LGBTI policies
We organized our first People to People cultural exchange with Cuba in June 2016, learning how different UNESCO and religious resources and connections can advance reconciliation and healing. We also supported and led the Anglican Bishop of Cubas visit to New York and Washington and helped secure additional funding for her diocese from Trinity Church Wall Street.
Colin Stewart was given the Hero Award and State of California recognition in March for his successful Erasing 76 Crimes blog which now has a readership of 1.6 million since it was created. It became tri-lingual this year. The Foundation gave Colin a 10,000 grant to expand young writers and journalists to write and report on experiences of LGBTI people when criminalized. We connected Christ Church Cathedral Indianapolis with this blog and supported Richard Parkins reconciliation work in South Sudan with another 10,000 grant through the churches there.
