RX Partnership coordinates free medication from pharmaceutical companies and arranges for distribution directly to nonprofit, licensed pharmacies which it credentials and monitors. RX partnerhip also supports medication delivery to clinics without a licensed pharmacy. In fiscal year 2023, RX Partnership provided its 30 clinic partners with Access to free medication to support over 8,342 uninsured virginians. Brand and generic medications obtained through the RX Partnership program filled nearly 51,000 prescriptions with a value of more than 15.3 million. These medications treat chronic illnesses such as asthma, diabetes, hypertension, and depression. For every dollar donated to RX Partnership, 22 in prescrption value was delivered to clinic patients.
