We successfully tagged and released 22 striped marlins with spaghetti tags which will help researchers & fisheries management gather more data to the migrations patterns & spanning locations of the striped marlin. We removed over 100 mylar balloons in 2023 as well as any other floating trash we came across. On our social media platforms, we have shared multiple videos of us removing mylar balloons from the ocean and many of these videos have reached over 300,000 people. In these videos we have been bringing awareness to this issue and advocating for the ban on the sale of these types of balloons. We continue to add to and improve our website as an education source with blogs, articles, & information about how to be a better steward of the sea.
