We build partnerships with civic and business leaders who understand and jointly agree upon the priority social and economic concerns in their region.together and with funding from Roots & Wings, our partners scale small- and mid-sized businesses that create good jobs for local people while producing the goods and services most needed by communities. Business leaders reinvest their profits in the next generation of social enterprises. Social leaders reinvest their profits in non-income generating programming that addresses key social concerns.when we leave, local families are financially independent and local leaders have the capacity and capital to continue investing in their region, without the need for foreign aid. Our results change lives and transform regions, so we evaluate what we do and help the most effective organizations replicate our approach globally.
