Program areas at Ukrainenow Openscience Ethical Sourcing
Ukraine now programthe program was launched in february 2022. Ukrainenow quickly responded to the most pressing humanitarian needs by organizing and funding regular evacuations of civilians (mostly women and children). Ukrainenow continues to provide aid to civilians including by coordinating the delivery of needed supplies across ukraine. Through its volunteers, Ukrainenow has launched numerous projects providing resources and information to ukrainians around the world. Ukrainenow facilitated evacuation of over five thousand refugees, delivered hundreds of humanitarian aid packages. The current objective is fundraising and funding partner humanitarian aid organizations to deliver help in ukraine, as well as running educational programs for refugees to help with recovery and rebuilding after the war.
Ethical Sourcing programthe program was launched in january 2022 to facilitate Ethical Sourcing of overseas goods and funding underprivileged communities involved in the associated labor. The program reached thousands of consumers in the us to spread awareness of the problems associated with Ethical Sourcing. The program facilitated conversations and was designed to produce educational content on the matter of Ethical Sourcing overseas. Unfortunately, the program closed shortly after the invasion of ukraine as the organization shifted all the resources towards the Ukrainenow program.
