Program areas at PASP
Planning and fundiing of the wakpa triennial excelerated in 2022 with artists selected and contracts developed. Pasp worked with 35 organizational partners on Art programs and projects to be presented in 2023. No actual Public programs were presented related to the triennial in 2022.
Western sculpture park and earth lab workshops; held another successful series of art-making and environmental workshops for youth and families.
City artist program worked with city artist aaron dysart to present sidewalk poetry stamping in summer 2022; artists were selected for the wheelock parkway Public Art ordinance projects; and dance hall to go visited seniors in senior homes. Aaron dysart also designed a new sculpture that will be created for the wakpa triennial.
Next Public Art commissioned 3 artists to create Art of food projects and presented the 2023 distinguished Public artists program.
