Program areas at Powered Foods

Develop technical solutions in food production science, to optimize nutrition and energy in food for increased health. Began developing this line of activity in 2018. Please see Schedule O for details. *** The corporation ceased all program services and activities in 2021 and formally dissolved with the approval of the Ohio Secretary of State on July 27, 2022. Howard F. Wilkins II served as the chief executive officer from 2019 to his passing on Feb. 19, 2021. The remaining members of the Board of Trustees, having discussed the loss of Howard F. Wilkins II, and his vision, discerned that there was no viable path forward for the organization. Due to the pandemic of 2020, and Howard's illness and passing in Feb. of 2021, there was no development on the properties purchased in the latter part of 2019 and no advancement of the Powered Foods' mission. Thus, the Board of Trustees, by unanimous written Consent dated Aug. 9, 2021, agreed it is in the best interest of the organization to cease its activities, dispose of its assets to pay its debts, and dissolve the Ohio 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. A Certificate of Dissolution for Powered Foods, charter number 3964499, was filed with the Ohio Secretary of State on July 27, 2022, and approved by the Ohio Secretary of State on July 28, 2022.
