Program areas at Partnership for Indigenous Peoples -pipes - International

TRANSFORMATION: Family Transformation, Socioeconomic Development, and Missionary Support. PIPES is concerned for all people, especially those living in poverty, the vulnerable, and those negatively affected by financial difficulties. We support community development programs to alleviate poverty and suffering among indigenous and low-income communities. We empower local leaders to take charge of development in their communities. The programs include Farming, Small business initiatives, Sewing Skills, Savings, and Healthcare awareness, including; jigger treatment and payments for insurance premiums. We also respond to disasters by providing emergency food and healthcare to the most vulnerable communities.
EDUCATION. Education is a powerful tool for empowerment. In 2011, PIPES established a school in DR Congo to educate indigenous and orphaned children. The school started with a handful of children, and today, over 600 children can access education and meals. We have demonstrated God's love and given hope to thousands of children and their families. In September 2020, we graduated from the first grade of 12 students. Quality education for children is a priority and should be made available to all. We support over 1000 students in Africa and Asia to access quality education, thus giving them a brighter future and opportunities. We have also constructed two schools in Congo to serve some fo the poorest villages in the region.
DISCIPLESHIP & MISSION. PIPES mobilizes teams for short and long-term cross-cultural integral ministry. The most excellent seed we can plant is God's word, and the greatest hope we can give is the hope of eternal life. For consistency and growth, PIPES developed a Discipleship Pathway Workbook for spiritual growth and evangelism. We conduct weekly Discipleship Bible Studies in Africa, Asia, and the United States. We also run weekly zoom bible studies involving participants worldwide. We organize annual mission trips in Africa and Asia, where we do evangelism, conferences, training, and seminars.
